Kristina and Ryan celebrated their wedding day this past fall! Learn about their story and see all the ways they made the property their style.
"Our story began when a mutual friend set us up at a party. She wouldn't tell us who she was setting us up with, we had to figure it out on our own". A few years later, on November 16, 2019, they found their way to Rosewood Farms for the beginning of their love story as a married couple!
Their wedding day began with Kristina and her bridal party getting ready in The Suite. With the perfect amount of space to lounge, get ready in front of a large vanity, and take gorgeous photos it started as a day she'll never forget!
Kristina utilized the space as more than just a place to get ready.
In front of a large mirror, she was able to add her finishing touches and use the space as a gorgeous backdrop for photos!
With a perfect amount of natural lighting and elegant decor, she got beautiful photos in The Suite with her bridal party.
Once photos in The Suite were completed, the group moved to The Rustic Barn to take more photos in front of our large white-washed barn doors. The light green and gray color palette, along with bouquets from Elkton Florist, created the perfect contrast for stunning photos.
Kristina and Ryan chose to have their ceremony at a nearby church. Their guests enjoyed cocktail hour in The Rustic Barn, while the couple moved to the patio to take photos in front of the beautiful scenery and pond.
Their favorite photos were taken by the fire pit... and we agree, their perfect!
After photos were taken throughout the property, it was time to head to the reception! The two fell in love with Rosewood after seeing the inside of the Rose Barn which made it a great spot to have a party. They said it was the perfect combination of grand and rustic, which fit their style perfectly!
The Rose Barn was transformed into the ideal venue for their wedding day with just a few personal touches! Intricate greenery carefully selected for their invitations, a beautifully simple cake, and table settings helped to add a modern touch. Gold chargers were the perfect accent color to pop against their green and white palette.
The wedding party utilized the silo bar for unique photos against an industrial background! Dim lighting, wooden floors, and the silver of the silo created a color-coordinated backdrop, perfectly photographed by Kaylee Newcomer Photography.
The reception kicked off with a focus on the newlyweds along with their closest friends and family.
The wedding party gathered at the head table in front of the fireplace as the couple and their parents had their special dances. What a beautiful moment!
Kristina and Ryan had an awesome opportunity to include their style in a creative way and send their guests home with a keepsake. They chose chose a photo booth from Tiny Tin Photo Booth. How perfect! With suitcases to the side of the entrance, decor added the perfect touch to this quaint camper.
Time for cake! Friends and family took a break from dancing to gather around the couple as they cut their wedding cake. The white cake with leafy detailing perfectly tied together the overall theme of their special day.
The entire evening was memorable, as said by Kristina. "We just love partying with our family!" They ended their night on the dance floor with their friends, family, and a surprise late-night snack from Chick-fil-A!
