Signature Cocktails Sure to Leave a Splash!

Searching for a signature cocktail that you and your guests will love? Here are some fun, tasty cocktail ideas that are sure to impress!

Flavored Mojitos

The mojito is a classic drink consisting of just a few simple ingredients: muddled mint, lime, and simple syrup, with a shot of silver rum, and topped with club soda. Mojitos are refreshing and bold, the perfect drink for a summer wedding, but if lime isn’t your thing, it can be made into almost any flavor easily, by swapping flavored syrup for simple. Some flavors we recommend trying out are strawberry, mango, pineapple, peach, and watermelon!  With only one type of liquor, this drink is well within the bounds of Rosewood’s liquor policy, too!

Crushes

Hailing from Ocean City Maryland, the orange crush has become increasingly popular in recent years, and for a good reason! Sweet and fresh, this drink is one that almost everyone will enjoy. While the traditional orange crush consists of fresh squeezed orange juice, orange vodka, triple sec, and sprite—this drink can be altered to taste! Ditch the triple sec and swap sprite for club to make it a skinny, or change the flavor completely by using a different flavored vodka and fruit. Some other flavors worth a try include grapefruit, lemon, lime, mango, and watermelon.

Bay Breeze

Fruity, pretty, and pink, everyone will want to grab one of these! A classic Bay Breeze consists of just vodka, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice, though you’re probably more familiar with the Malibu Bay Breeze, which uses the same juices, but swaps the vodka for Malibu coconut rum. Another option is to go for the Sea Breeze, which is made from Vodka, grapefruit juice, and cranberry juice, for a lighter, more refreshing taste as opposed to the sweetness of a bay breeze.

Rum Punch

Want to add a tropical flair but aren’t a vodka drinker? Rum punches and all their variations are very similar, but all are delicious, fruity, and tropical! While most rum punches like the Bahama Mama (Dark rum, coconut rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice, and grenadine) and Rum Runner (Light rum, dark rum, banana and blackberry liqueur, pineapple juice, and grenadine) violate our liquor policy of using only one alcohol, many of these recipes can be simplified and only made with one type of rum and flavored syrups—whichever you prefer!

Moscow Mule

Having a winter wedding? The Moscow Mule is a classic all year round, but something about the combination of ginger beer, muddled lime, and vodka in a frosted mug gives all the cozy vibes! Want to put a twist on the classic mule? Try it with a splash of cranberry juice, or swap vodka for whiskey or bourbon!

Margaritas

Another drink we all know and love! The classic margarita is made from tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and a splash of sour, shaken and served with a salted rim and a lime, for a super tasty, twangy result! Flavor these by swapping lime juice for whatever flavored syrup or juice you prefer or try a sugar rim for a sweeter finish.

Irish Coffee

Want something warm and already serving coffee at your wedding? Irish coffee is an easy drink that everyone likes! Just add a shot of Irish whiskey to black coffee and serve with whipped cream on top!
